Former first lady Melania Trump has reportedly refused to take part in her husband's presidential campaign and has rejected requests to appear at campaign stops and appearances.
Mrs. Trump has taken a backseat since she and her husband left the White House three years ago.
It seems she has been content with life outside of politics and has been focusing on 17-year-old Barron Trump's search for colleges.
She hasn't been entirely absent from the campaign, as she told Fox News that her husband's campaign had her "full support” back in May.
Stephanie Grisham, Melania's former chief of staff, told the New York Times that, "I don’t think it’s going to be anything like what we’ve seen with Casey DeSantis."
The toll of the campaign trail is significant, especially for the Trump family thanks to the vicious and downright indefensible attacks from the Democrat Party. It is no wonder that Melania has chosen to be more behind the scenes as opposed to the last two election cycles.
