Melania Trump diverges from husband on issue of abortion

Melania Trump isn't saying that she wants a divorce or anything, she just needs to be able to be her own person.

Sometimes, we get so caught up in the whirlwind that is Donald Trump that we forget that the people in his circle are individuals with their own thoughts and desires as well.

Mrs. Trump is one of them.

She believes that just because she's married to Donald Trump does NOT mean that she needs to agree with him on every issue.

Abortion is one of those.

While Trump at least needs to appease the pro-life conservatives, Melania does not feel the same way.

"Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body? A woman's fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes," Melania wrote in her book. "Restricting a woman's right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body. I have carried this belief with me throughout my entire adult life."

People are certainly entitled to their own opinion.

As long as we don't confuse "opinion" with "facts" like the left enjoys doing, Melania should be allowed to her own opinion as well.
