Meghan Markle and Prince Harry cut from Spotify deal

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's production company has lost out on a deal with Spotify they signed nearly three years ago, which was reportedly worth $20 million.

The move prompted outrage from Spotify executive Bill Simmons who ripped the couple as "f–king grifters."

Simmons said on his podcast, "The f-cking grifters. That’s the podcast we shoulda launched with them. I gotta get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry to try and help him with a podcast idea. It’s one of my best stories."

The podcast was one of the many efforts that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex undertook to remain in the spotlight despite the tension between them and the royal family.

Ever since Prince Harry married Markle, a divorced actress, the couple has been generating drama and picking fights with the rest of the royal family.

By all accounts, the couple seems to be dedicated to generating press and calling attention to themselves at the expense of all relationships. It seems Spotify is just the latest victim of the grift, and it seems unlikely any other major company will want to get involved with the pair.
