It's clear that the mainstream media probably couldn't keep their lights on if they didn't have something -- anything -- to talk about regarding former President Donald Trump.
Now that the multiple indictments have failed the left in the sense that they have actually bolstered Trump's support, the media seem to be taking a new approach to their negative coverage of Trump by bringing Melania Trump into the headlines.
Headlines and social media posts, undoubtedly created by Trump Derangement Syndrome-laden critics, are questioning Melania Trump's role in his 2024 campaign and pushing a false narrative that she's distancing from her husband.
"Within the past few months, Melania has been noticeably absent from Donald’s public appearances, and has only been captured a few times by paparazzi, so may have asked the same question: “Where is Melania?'" SheKnows wrote in a recent piece addressing the issue.
The outlet noted that Melania Trump has "stood by her husband's campaign in private" but has tended to stay out of the limelight that comes with a presidential campaign.
Recently, during an in-state college football rivalry in Iowa, Trump attended the game. Business Insider reported that a plan flew over Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa with a banner that read "Where's Melania?"

Some on social media claimed that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) was behind the plane banner and other "Where's Melania?" propaganda, but the claim wasn't verified.
It's still unclear who is behind such unnecessary nastiness.
Fans of the former first lady defended her across social media, noting that she's simply making the choice to stay away from the negativity of the mainstream media, especially to protect her son from that toxicity.
"Where's Melania?" Enjoying spending time with her son, staying away from the media trash, and working on her digital artworks NTF's. I know one thing 80 million+ people miss her and can't wait to see her back in the White House! #Trump2024 pic.twitter.com/ErGdhKEh7m

Melania Trump has also chosen to stay in the shadows regarding Donald Trump's multiple indictments, but as many noted, it's not unusual to shy away from high-profile legal situations.
Melania Trump was the best first lady ever. ❤❤❤
The good news is that she and her husband, Donald Trump, will return soon and save the United States. 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/l3FpTQ4t8U

Short of an unexpected situation, many have no doubt that Melania Trump will stand by her husband's side as the 2024 election draws nearer.
