Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said that a motion to vacate the leadership of House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is "coming" no matter what he does at this point.

“It’s coming regardless of what Mike Johnson decides to do," she said on Fox News.

Greene has had a motion to vacate on the table since Johnson took advantage of bipartisan support to pass a spending package that averted a government shutdown. She also opposed the recent standalone foreign aid package that included $60 billion in aid to Ukraine.

When she first made the motion, she called it a "warning," but it seems like she's ready to pull the trigger on it now.

Greene may not realize that because Johnson allowed the aid bill to be voted on, he is likely to get some Democrat support in any vote to vacate his leadership.

Democrats previously said that they would make a deal with Johnson to support his speakership if he allowed a standalone aid package to come to a vote.
