Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) shared on X that she received gruesome death threats from a known individual just days before a swatting incident at her house.

“We received this death threat where this man is saying I will be shot in the head and skinned to make a ‘parasol’ making a reference to Gein, who was a psychopath killer who would make things out of his victim’s skin,” Ms. Greene wrote on X.

The man who made the threats, Ben McLean, was questioned by Capitol police but has not been arrested.

She said she received an email that police don't believe McLean intends to harm anyone.

Taylor Greene said she was swatted -- which involves a fake 911 call sending police and emergency personnel (often heavily armed) to a residence -- on Christmas Day when extended family was there, noting that it was the 8th time that had happened.

“I was just swatted. This is like the 8th time. On Christmas with my family here," she posted to X. “My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this. I appreciate them so much, and my family and I are in joyous spirits celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ!”
