Marjorie Taylor Green Moves To Defund Special Counsel In Trump Case
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is a Republican from Georgia.
She's also a huge supporter of Donald Trump, and she doesn't care who knows it.
As a fan of Trump, she's taking aim at her new biggest enemy:
Greene is so upset about Smith's recent behavior toward Trump that she thinks that his office should be DEFUNDED.
That would be a MAJOR move, no matter which side of the aisle you occupy.
"This morning, I’m writing an appropriations rider to DEFUND Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office and entire investigation," Greene said on June 12. She added that she would vote against anything that funded the "weaponization of government."
"I will not vote for ANY appropriations bill to fund the weaponization of government," she said. "I hope every one of my Republican colleagues will join me."
Do you think they will join her? Let us know in the comments below.
