Manhattan DA opposes Trump immunity, seeks affirmation of conviction
Alvin Bragg doesn't care that the U.S. Supreme Court recently decided that Donald Trump should get some immunity for official acts conducted while he was president of the United States of America.
Bragg has one mission, and that is to make Trump's presidential election as difficult as possible.
Liberals tabbed Bragg to either put Trump behind bars or make sure that he spent ALL of his time and money in a courtroom and not out on the campaign trail.
Bragg understands his assignment, which is why he wants any immunity decision from the Supreme Court disregarded so that Trump is obstructed as much as possible.
Bragg is so desperate to punish Trump that his team wrote a 69-page response to Trump's appeal of his hush money conviction.
The D.A. wants any protections the Supreme Court recently articulated to be disregarded, saying that they shouldn't apply in this case:
"For all the pages that defendant devotes to his current motion, the evidence that he claims is affected by the Supreme Court’s ruling constitutes only a sliver of the mountains of testimony and documentary proof that the jury considered in finding him guilty of all 34 felony charges beyond a reasonable doubt," Bragg said.
