Manchin: TikTok Proving They Don't Care About America

Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) is unlike most Democrats in that he still uses his brain.

Sure, he ran and won as a Democrat, but that doesn't mean he isn't allowed to think for himself.

One way he separates himself from other lefties in Congress is that he doesn't let China do whatever it wants and then praise its officials for it like other liberals do. Manchin wants to do something to slow them down, starting with their biggest weapon, TikTok.

TikTok has shown it does not care about Americans by removing anti-fentanyl ads. Manchin wants to know how the app can claim it doesn't do immense damage to children if it's removing stuff like ads about the truth about dangerous drugs.

"They don’t have the best interest of the American youth or the American public. I’ll guarantee you this doesn’t happen in China. I’ll guarantee that."

He's right. In fact, China has a completely different version of TikTok for its citizens. There, the app promotes science and technology. Here, it promotes violence and pornography.
