Manchin 'Thinking Seriously' About Leaving Democratic Party

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin recently confirmed the rumors:

Yes, he is "thinking seriously" about leaving the Democratic Party and turning independent before the 2024 election.

"I’m thinking seriously. For me, I have to have peace of mind, basically," Manchin said.

Manchin had previously described himself as an "independent Democrat."

It's not surprising that so many liberals have been abusing him as a result. They only have respect for those who fall in line and do what progressive leaders want at all times.

Manchin was a Democrat who wanted to use critical thinking and common sense.

That's not allowed on the left.

"The brand has become so bad — the D brand and R brand. In West Virginia, the D brand because it’s [the] national brand. It’s not the Democrats in West Virginia, it’s the Democrats in Washington," Manchin claimed. "You’ve heard me say a million times I’m not a Washington Democrat."
