Manchin Slams Senate For Leaving Washington With No Border Deal

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin may be a Democrat, but that doesn't mean he lacks common sense.

Sure, common sense isn't popular among Democrats, that's why Manchin has been frequently criticized by many of his liberal colleagues.

Manchin doesn't care about popularity right now.

He cares about saving America, and he knows that starts with securing our borders.

The Senate was supposed to reach a decision about how to handle America's border crisis before heading home for Christmas, but Manchin was severely disappointed when his colleagues decided to "pack up and head home" without a border deal.

I know exactly why these people decided to pack up and head home, Joe.

Because these people don't want a border deal.

It's a part of the Democrats' big plan to make our southern border as porous as possible, in hopes that those who come in will ultimately -- and reliably -- vote for their candidates.

It's a dirty scheme that's been decades in the making.
