Manchin Says Biden Being 'Hypocritical' On Debt Limit

Joe Manchin may be a Democrat, but he's a Democrat with common sense.

That means that he insists on thinking all things through before blindly agreeing with the rest of his party, including Joe Biden. It's a very good thing, too, when you consider all of the lies and nonsense that other Democrats put forth.

While Senator Manchin, a Democrat from West Virginia, doesn't agree with EVERYTHING that Republicans do, he is admitting that Biden simply isn't playing by the rules when it comes to America's debt ceiling.

The president has refused to cut any spending from his budget, a move that Manchin calls "not rational, not reasonable, and not practical."

That's because Biden expects Republicans to raise the debt ceiling with no promise from liberals that they'll get spending under control.

Even Manchin knows that isn't sustainable.

"It’s just — it’s not rational, it’s not reasonable, and it’s not practical" to have no cuts, Manchin said. "And it’s something that — it’s hypocritical to say that we’re not going to do it now, when we’ve done it every time that there has been a split in the party. The only time that I know there hasn’t been a big discussion is when one party, whether it be Republicans, have the White House, the House, and the Senate or the Democrats have all three."
