Man With Crossbow Shot Dead By Police

London is experiencing a bit of a problem with medieval weapons recently, and Jan. 30 was no different.

During the early morning hours, Metropolitan Police firearms officers "responded to reports of a man with a crossbow trying to force his way inside a home and shot the suspect dead in Southwark, London."

The force said that they had received reports of a man carrying "weapons including a crossbow" and threatening to harm residents.

After local police were unable to reason with the suspect, firearms officers were dispatched to the situation.

Looks like criminals will still find a way to be criminals, no matter what gun laws look like in a country.

Two people inside the house that the suspect was trying to force his way into were injured. Maybe they wouldn't have been if they would have been able to defend themselves with firearms.
