Man kills 4 relatives with steak knife, injures 2 cops before being gunned down

 December 5, 2023

Tragedy struck a New York City home last week, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries in a mass stabbing attack.

According to The New York Post, an "unhinged" man allegedly used a steak knife to slaughter four of his family members, before ultimately setting the house on fire and injuring two responding police officers with the knife attack.

Tragically, two of the killer's victims were young children, 11 and 12 years old.

The Post noted:

Officers rushed to the home in Far Rockaway after a young girl called 911 and said her cousin “was killing her family members” there — and she then jumped out of a window to escape, NYPD officials and police sources said.

The suspect was identified as Courtney Gordon, 38. He managed to stab one of the police officers in the head, and the other in the neck, before a veteran officer opened fire and killed him.

Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Hendry described the scene as "chaos; multiple victims, a house on fire and a madman on a rampage, on a mission."

The Post noted:

Officers discovered the 11-year-old girl with fatal stab wounds right outside of the home.

Three other victims, the 12-year-old boy, a 44-year-old woman and a man in his 30s were found dead inside of the home, also stabbed to death, cops said.

Both of the injured NYPD officers were rushed to the Jamaica Hospital and eventually released in good condition. Fellow officers applauded the injured cops as they left the hospital.

In a separate report, it was noted that Gordon was reportedly homeless and living at the house with his aunt and cousins. The Post reported that he was there "visiting" his family.

He had a last-known address in the Bronx, and has an arrest record there from last year for a domestic violence charge.

Add this disturbing incident to a long list of continuing violent crimes in America's Democrat-led cities.
