A new poll by CBS News and YouGov showed that a majority of independent voters want Congress to investigate the Biden family, or as Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) called it, the "Biden Crime Family."

According to the poll, 57% want Hunter Biden investigated, while 53% said the president should be investigated.

Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) has launched nine separate investigations into the Biden family, knowing that the new House would have a Republican majority with committee chairs.

“I want to be clear, this is an investigation of Joe Biden,” Comer announced in November. “The Biden family’s business dealings implicate a wide range of criminality from human trafficking to potential violations of the constitution.”

“In the 218th Congress, this committee will evaluate the status of Joe Biden’s relationship with his family’s foreign partners and whether he is a president who is compromised or swayed by foreign dollars or influence,” he said.

Slightly larger majorities of a general sample of Americans also favored investigations into the Bidens.
