Instead of cheers, audience members booed former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney and turned their chairs away from her to show their displeasure as she gave the commencement speech at her alma mater, Colorado College on Sunday.

“Why listen to a racist, imperialist, transphobic, war monger?? Your hate is loud,” one graduate's cap read.

Cheney tried to tell the students she thought more women should run for office, and she repeated the same talking points about former President Donald Trump that she's been spouting for years.

The college is liberal, and some students applauded, but many were not impressed.

She encouraged the students to vote, noting that Republicans don't want them to because most young people vote Democrat.

She didn't talk about 2024 or her own plans for a political future; previously, she had considered running for president against Trump.
