Liberal media freaks out at new 2024 poll showing Trump tied with Biden

 September 6, 2023

Former President Donald Trump is on a roll, and the onslaught of indictments and media criticism has boosted and fueled his 2024 presidential campaign to new heights.

In addition, Trump is still running neck-and-neck with President Joe Biden in hypothetical 2024 matchup polls, which, according to Fox News, is driving the left-leaning mainstream media totally bonkers.

Specifically, ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos seemed especially shook when he reported on the latest 2024 hypothetical election matchup poll, which showed Trump and President Joe Biden tied at 46%

The ABC host commented on The Wall Street Journal poll that showed the two presidents tied.

"It is kind of shocking in a way, that despite all of the baggage that Donald Trump carries, he’s tied with Joe Biden right now," Stephanopoulos said.

He added, "With every passing month, with every new indictment, Donald Trump seems to be consolidating his control over the Republican Party."

While most others outside of the legacy media already knew that Trump's legal "baggage" has only served to boost his presidential campaign, it seems as if the media is finally coming around to saying it out loud.

Fox News noted:

Those surveyed in the Wall Street Journal poll were asked about the indictments against Trump, with more than 60% of Republican primary voters insisting that the multiple criminal charges were politically motivated and lacked merit.

Another 78% said Trump's actions following the 2020 election were legitimate actions to ensure an accurate vote. Just 16% said that Trump illegally attempted to prevent Congress from certifying the 2020 presidential election results.

Others in the same liberal media circles, including CNN's Jim Acosta, admitted recently on air that Trump is tied with Biden in the polls.

"I guess we would be remiss if we were to pass over this Wall Street Journal poll, that found even rates between Trump and Joe Biden, 46% for each. The man on the left side of the screen is the President of the United States and the man on the right is former President of the United States with four indictments, and he is still tied with Joe Biden in the poll. Larry, what do you make of that?" Acosta said, directing the question at Larry Sabato, the Director of the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia.

Sabato's answer seemed to be shocking to Acosta, but true.

"Biden has work to do," he replied. "This is important for Democrats to get, this is not going to be a cakewalk. A lot of things can happen, but it's not going to be a cakewalk."

It'll be fascinating to see how Democrats and their media allies react to what has turned into a total disaster for the Democratic Party.
