Police in Silt, Colorado are investigating Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) after an incident over the weekend at a local restaurant involving her ex-husband Jayson.

Jayson claims that his ex-wife punched him in the face during an argument, and police were called to the restaurant. No arrests were made, however.

Boebert denied she punched her husband, and Jayson said he did not want to press charges against her.

The two were divorced in 2023 after 18 years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Boebert plans to run for the House again in 2024, but in the more conservative 4th District rather than her current 3rd District.

She might want to avoid being accused of punching people in the face if she wants to get elected, however.
