Lara Trump withdraws name from consideration for FL Senate seat
Fans of MAGA really had their ears perk up when they heard that Lara Trump was in consideration to fill the Senate seat being left behind for outgoing Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio.
Unfortunately for fans of the Trump family, that dream appears to have died.
Lara Trump, Donald Trump's daughter-in-law and outgoing Republican National Committee co-chair, announced on December 21 that she will no longer be pursuing Rubio's vacant seat.
"After an incredible amount of thought, contemplation, and encouragement from so many, I have decided to remove my name from consideration for the United States Senate," Lara Trump said.

Previously, Lara Trump told the Associated Press that the seat was "something I would seriously consider."
"If I’m being completely transparent, I don’t know exactly what that would look like. And I certainly want to get all of the information possible if that is something that’s real for me. But yeah, I would 100% consider it," Lara Trump said at the time.
At least as of right now, it's probably not going to happen.
