Laken Riley's illegal migrant murderer sentenced to life in prison without parole
The family of Laken Riley, the University of Georgia (UGA) student who was murdered on campus earlier this year by an illegal alien allowed into the country by the Biden-Harris administration, received a little bit of closure this week.
According to Breitbart, a judge found Jose Antonio Ibarra, the aforementioned illegal migrant from Venezuela, guilty of murdering Riley on Feb. 22 of this year.
Ibarra was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Breitbart noted:
Ibarra crossed the U.S.-Mexico border near El Paso, Texas on Sept. 8, 2022. Biden and Harris’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released Ibarra into the U.S. interior with parole, citing a lack of available detention space even as more than 8,000 detention beds were available at the time.
The would-be murderer would eventually obtain a work permit and a "humanitarian flight" from New York City to Georgia.
He went on to meet with ICE agents for biometric screening and identification, only for authorities to find out he had a criminal past.
What he would do next -- to Riley -- is unthinkable.
Many people, including President-elect Donald Trump, reacted to the news of the guilty verdict and life sentence. The incoming president released a lengthy statement on the update.
"JUSTICE FOR LAKEN RILEY! The Illegal who killed our beloved Laken Riley was just found GUILTY on all counts for his horrific crimes. Although the pain and heartbreak will last forever, hopefully this can help bring some peace and closure to her wonderful family who fought for Justice, and to ensure that other families don’t have to go through what they have," Trump wrote.
Trump also vowed to follow through on his promise to clamp down on the illegal migrant chaos at the southern U.S. border once he's back in office.
He added, "We love you, Laken, and our hearts will always be with you. It is time to secure our Border, and remove these criminals and thugs from our Country, so nothing like this can happen again!"
Many social media users called for tougher sentencing, such as the death penalty, given the egregious nature of the brutal crime.
It would be difficult to blame them for wanting that.
