Kevin McCarthy Wants Capitol Building's Top Manager Fired

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, a Republican from California, recently came out and demanded that Joe Biden fire the top manager of America's Capitol Building.

McCarthy insists that he completely lost confidence in "the Architect of the Capitol, Brett Blanton," as a result of serious allegations of U.S. taxpayer-funded resources.

"The Architect of the Capitol, Brett Blanton, no longer has my confidence to continue in his job. He should resign or President Biden should remove him immediately."

Not only is Blanton in hot water for his misuse of taxpayer dollars, he's also been blasted for his refusal to drive to work on Jan. 6, 2021. Instead of showing up amid all the chaos, the man called his vehicle a "mobile command post" and sat in his car.

Representative Stephanie Bice, a Republican from Oklahoma, has been one of Blanton's most vocal opponents:

I find it mind-blowing that the head of the AOC, the leader, knowing what you knew — probably a lot more than we did that day — would not have been in this building ensuring the safety and security not only of the building but of the employees that you lead.
