Kash Patel says Trump 'honeypot' story not true

 March 1, 2025

For years, the media has been trying to hurt Donald Trump and the people around him by exaggerating every negative story they can pick up about him, but it would appear as though the era of fake news network dominance is finally coming to an end.

American citizens' trust in the mainstream media is now at an all-time low, and stories like this are precisely why.

Republicans in this country need to make sure the truth gets out, no matter how it makes Donald Trump look.

Recent reports suggested that Trump was caught up in a "honeypot" operation conducted during the Obama administration.

New FBI Director Kash Patel, who has promised a new level of transparency, has come out and said that these rumors are false and unfair to the agent.

"A female agent was falsely referenced in the media this week as part of an alleged whistleblower disclosure -- she was NOT a honeypot," Patel recently wrote on social media.

"I have reviewed the matter, again, and she did the limited job assigned to her. These actions were also reviewed by Special Counsel John Durham and he found no evidence of any wrongdoing by her," Patel said. "This agent has dedicated her life to public service, and I will have her back for it."
