Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader dead at age 40

 March 27, 2024

Krystal Anderson achieved something to which millions of people aspire and very few ever actually accomplish.

She got to be a part of the action of the NFL:

Anderson is best known for her stint as a cheerleader at more than 100 Kansas City Chiefs games.

Her family must have some incredible memories of watching Krystal perform on such a massive stage, but those memories are all that they have left of her now.

Krystal Anderson has passed away from sepsis at age 40.

Just days after doctors delivered Anderson's stillborn baby, Krystal herself died.

"During that time, she attended the Pro Bowl as the Chiefs representative in 2015, served as a captain of her team, cheered during the London game, and visited our troops around the world, including in Iraq, Kuwait, and throughout the United States," the Chiefs Cheerleaders Twitter account posted. "She was loved and adored by her teammates, fans, and strangers who were never strangers for long."

Rest in peace, Krystal.
