Pundits say Kamala Harris won debate, yet saw no bump in support
If you're a Republican, you probably wanted a little better performance out of Donald Trump in Tuesday's presidential debate.
Sure, Trump was fighting the moderators as well as his opponent, but he has overcome terrible odds before.
This time, he wasn't able to.
Even the New York Post is admitting that "Vice President Kamala Harris clearly defeated former President Donald Trump in Tuesday night’s debate."
In a survey recently conducted by Leger, half of the people who responded believed that Kamala Harris won the debate, compared to just 29% of respondents who said that Trump won.
Despite this obvious victory for Kamala, she might not really have anything to celebrate at all.
According to the Post, the same poll that showed Harris won the debate is saying that it's Trump who has actually seen the post-debate numbers bump:
The poll also shows Trump gained one percentage point of support among likely voters from a pre-debate survey taken following the Democratic National Convention in late August, while Harris held steady.
