Kamala Harris town hall host shuts down questions that aren't 'predetermined'

Kamala Harris wanted to put out the illusion that she was both relatable and quick to think on her feet.

It turns out, she's nothing close to either of those things.

During a recent town hall event with Vice President Kamala Harris, host former California first lady Maria Shriver admitted that the event would only consist of questions that had been screened beforehand.

The audience would not be allowed to interact with Kamala Harris, because she can only speak in a controlled environment.

"Are we going to be able to ask a question?" a woman asked at the event.

"You're not, unfortunately we have some predetermined questions," the host replied. "And hopefully I'll be able to ask some of the questions that might be in your head, I hope so."

"I want this to be like a kitchen table, like just think that we're sitting around at the kitchen table and we're jamming about all kinds of stuff," Shriver continued.
