Kamala Harris dead wrong in saying Biden administration lowered heating and electric bills

When listening to members of the Biden administration talk these days, one has to wonder: Are they lying about everything on purpose or are they just that dead wrong about what's happening with the economy, the border and a number of other policy areas?

Case in point: On Wednesday at Bowie State University, Vice President Kamala Harris claimed that the Biden administration “reduced heating and electricity bills so folks have more money in their pocket.”

While the U.S. is nowhere as bad off as Europe in its energy prices so far, the latest CPI numbers have natural gas up 6.7% between December 2022 and January 2023 (that's in only one month) and electricity was up .5%.

RNC Research tweeted further that "electricity is up 11.9%, fuel oil is up 27.7%, and natural gas is up 26.7% over last year."

Why does Harris think she can get away with flatly lying to the American people when most of us pay our bills every month and can see that her words are the furthest thing from the truth?

And if she really thinks her claims are true, how much worse is the gross ignorance of the nation's highest officials than lying?
