Kai Trump, the oldest granddaughter of President Donald Trump, has signed an endorsement deal with TaylorMade golf equipment while still playing for her high school golf team.

Trump, a junior who verbally committed to playing for the University of Miami last August, has rubbed elbows recently with Tiger Woods at the Genesis Invitational and played in the pro-am at Torrey Pines with Rory McIlroy.

It is unusual for a high schooler to get such a deal, but Trump has 5.4 million followers online and is estimated to have NIL (name, image, and likeness) worth nearly $1 million already, despite her youth.

Many college golfers get free equipment from brands in order to build loyalty if and when they turn pro, but contracts like Trump's are rare.

As the line between amateur and pro continues to blur, though, we can probably expect more deals like this one.

Trump announced the deal on her social media on Saturday.
