Judge rejects Hunter Biden's latest attempt to dismiss charges
Hunter Biden is doing anything he can to avoid facing justice, but he's not having very much luck.
Just like the rest of America, a federal judge is getting pretty sick and tired of the first son's nonsense.
On Aug. 19, U.S. District Judge Mark Scarsi, the Los Angeles-based federal judge overseeing Hunter Biden's tax case, denied a request from defense attorneys who were seeking to have the matter tossed.
The Biden team's only reasoning in support of the request was that a federal judge had made the decision to dismiss an unrelated controversy: the federal classified documents case against Donald Trump.
Scarsi denied the motion, meaning Hunter Biden is one step closer to facing the music.
"As he concedes in his notice of the motion, Mr. Biden plainly seeks reconsideration of issues already decided upon his February motion," Scarsi said in his dismissal. "There is no valid basis for reconsideration of the court's [prior] order denying Mr. Biden's motion to dismiss the indictment."
