Judge orders Donald Trump to pay $1 million in fines for frivolous lawsuit

District Court Judge Donald Middlebrooks issued a ruling forcing former President Donald Trump to pay out nearly $1 million in fines after his lawsuit against powerful Democrats and intelligence officials was thrown out.

Trump filed a lawsuit against former FBI Director James Comey, California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and several other individuals.

The figures named allegedly conspired to undermine Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

Middlebrooks wrote in his opinion, "Here we are confronted with a lawsuit that should never have been filed, which was completely frivolous, both factually and legally, and which was brought in bad faith for an improper purpose."

The decision was a major blow for Trump who has so far failed to hold anyone accountable for the Russian collusion conspiracy created by Hillary Clinton and the FBI.

Donald Trump's bad luck with the courts could be attributed to the slanderous campaign against him waged by Democrats. There seems to be little chance that the former president will get a fair hearing in any court.
