Judge Napolitano Says Trump Made Compelling Argument In NY

 January 13, 2024

Donald Trump is on a hot streak, getting endorsements and compliments from all over the place recently.

First, it was the very popular Sam Brown of Nevada officially announcing that he was supporting Donald Trump in the race for the presidency in 2024.

Now, it's former New Jersey Superior Court Judge Andrew Napolitano saying that Trump "makes a compelling argument" by claiming that the case against him in New York was brought against him "for political reasons."

That opinion was based on words directly out of the mouth of New York Attorney General Letitia James herself when she was running for office, saying, "I'm going to get Trump," Napolitano recalled. He added:

She did make a prima facie case. He did show that some of the buildings on which loans were taken, the amounts of pledge, the security for the loan was not consistent with the true value. But Trump showed that nobody lost a nickel, that jobs were created, that everybody was paid back, and that the bank that he supposedly defrauded said it would do business with him tomorrow.
