Judge halts Trump's executive order on youth gender reassignment procedures

 February 18, 2025

Regardless of where you fall on gay marriage, other LGBT issues, or sexual reproduction arguments, many people in America feel as though mutilating children's genitals is crossing the line.

That's why Donald Trump issued an executive order "aimed at restricting gender-affirming health care for transgender people under age 19."

It's clear that children in America don't have the maturity to consent to genital mutilation that could impact them for the rest of their lives, but liberals are so desperate to be labeled as "compassionate" that they pretend that they're doing kids a favor by telling them they should have been born the opposite sex.

It only takes a little bit of common sense to realize that children who think they're all going to grow up to be astronauts and dinosaurs don't ACTUALLY know if they've been born into the wrong body or not.

Trump's executive order demanding that these children reach adulthood before lopping off their genitals made sense to a lot of people.

But one person who didn't agree with Trump's executive order is U.S. District Court Judge Lauren King of Seattle, Washington.

According to the Washington Examiner, King "has issued a temporarily restraining order against President Donald Trump’s executive order regarding gender reassignment procedures on youth, which can include puberty blockers and mastectomies, in response to a lawsuit filed by the state Attorney General’s Office."

Hopefully this temporary restraining order doesn't last long, and we can get back to common sense in America sooner rather than later.
