Joni Ernst says China is 'intentionally poisoning' Americans with Fentanyl

Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) warned that China is "intentionally poisoning" Americans with Fentanyl during an interview with CBS News correspondent Catherine Herridge on Friday.

During the interview, Herridge asked Ernst if she believed that the Chinese Communist Party was intentionally acting in league with the cartels in Mexico.

Ernst stated, "I believe it is. I think that the Chinese are intentionally poisoning America. The Chinese are selling these precursor chemicals into Mexico. Then the Mexican cartels are working on making the fentanyl and distributing it up into the United States."

Fentanyl has become a serious problem in the United States thanks in large part to the Biden administration's immigration policy. It turns out that leaving the Southern border completely open to smuggling isn't smart policymaking.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol have seized thousands of pounds of Fentanyl, but cartels manage to smuggle it in regardless.

China working with cartels to destabilize and poison Americans makes sense considering their recent flagrant violations of our sovereignty. China clearly no longer respects the United States and is doing everything in its power to break us down.
