John Nolte: Trump And DeSantis Tied In Arizona

February 25, 2023

John Nolte certainly enjoys putting the "opinion" in the "Opinion and Commentary" section of Breitbart's website, but this time he has the facts to back up his claims.

Nolte thinks that Arizona is pretty much a "jump ball" in regard to who would win the GOP presidential nomination in 2024.

A new presidential poll shows that the crucial swing state is pretty much deadlocked in a Trump versus DeSantis contest.

When DeSantis is put up against Joe Biden in the Grand Canyon State, Biden snags a close victory by one percentage point.

Against Trump, Biden's margin of victory is still just two points.

Regardless of whom Arizonians decide to send to battle against Biden it's going to be a close one, according to the poll, which revealed, according to Breitbart:

A bare majority of Republicans (53%) are certain there is room for Donald Trump in today’s GOP, but nearly one-third (30%) say there is no room for him. For the current president, equal shares of Democrats want (35%) and do not want (38%) Joe Biden to run for re-election in 2024. If next year’s general election came down, yet again, to Trump v. Biden, partisans would retreat to their corners and back their party’s candidate – setting the stage for another razor-thin margin. The poll found that 72% of Republicans would back Trump and 77% of Democrats would support Biden.
