Joe Biden's approval ratings collapse to lowest level of any president since Jimmy Carter

 July 9, 2023

President Joe Biden's approval ratings have collapsed to the lowest levels of any American commander in chief since former President Jimmy Carter, according to information from FiveThirtyEight.

Biden recently crossed the 900-day mark and has a 40.5% among the U.S. electorate to show for it.

The president's tenure started out on a relative high note, but the endless scandals and missteps have completely destroyed his image.

In fact, this number isn't the lowest to which Biden's approval has dropped. This time last year, Biden's approval rating was at a shockingly bad 38%.

Former President Donald Trump and President Biden have essentially swapped positions since the 2020 presidential election. Trump has capitalized on Biden's missteps and has regained much of what he lost in the 2020 election.

Trump hopes to use his resurgence to help him win the 2024 presidential election, and his chances only seem to be improving as President Biden continues to cement his place as the most unpopular president in modern American history.
