Joe Biden Issues Second Veto

 April 7, 2023

On March 6, 2023, President Joe Biden issued his second veto since taking office.

The bipartisan resolution that would have reversed waterway regulations enacted by Biden's administration last month is no more.

The regulations walk back deregulation efforts implemented by the Trump Administration. Republicans and some Democrats in Congress thought that Biden's regulations were an egregious overreach of power and moved to slow him down.

Dirty Old Joe Biden would have none of it and waved his veto power in the face of common sense.

Of course, that's not how the White House portrayed it:

The bill that Biden would eventually veto made it through the Senate with the support of 53 lawmakers. Four Democrats, one independent, and 48 Republicans endorsed the bill.

Biden didn't.
