Joe Biden hit with massive backlash over his 'optimistic' tweet

 January 23, 2023

President Joe Biden took to Twitter on Friday and said that he had "never been more optimistic" about his next two years as president. The tweet quickly incited massive backlash as furious Americans let loose on Biden.

The tweet, which was celebrating the two-year anniversary of his inauguration as president, read "Two years in, and I've never been more optimistic about America's future."

Comedian Tim Young responded to the president's tweet by saying, "Gas is up 40 cents from last month and eggs are $9." That was just one of the dozens of responses slamming the President's out-of-touch tweet.

Biden's popularity has been low his entire presidency and is arguably the most unpopular president of the modern era.

What is worse is there is little to be optimistic about as far as the economy goes. President Biden's economic policy has created unprecedented crises and reduced the quality of life for all Americans.

President Biden may have two years in office left but an overwhelming majority of Americans want to see him gone as soon as possible.
