According to Fox News via House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), former CIA Director John Brennan confirmed to Fox News that the letter from 51 former intelligence officials stating that they thought the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation was false and politically motivated.

"[Brennan] sat for a four-hour interview and he further confirmed that this thing was all political," Jordan said on "Jesse Watters Primetime."

The testimony apparently confirmed that Anthony Blinken, then a top campaign aide and now the Secretary of State, orchestrated the letter, and corroborated testimony by former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell, who had organized it in part.

The purpose of the letter was to give then-candidate Joe Biden a talking point in a late debate with then-President Donald Trump, even though the laptop was determined by several sources to be authentic.

The letter worked on enough people to give Biden the edge on Election Day, even though polls later showed that if all voters had known the truth about the laptop, Trump would have been elected.

In other words, Biden's campaign directly interfered with the election, which ought to be prosecutable.
