Jill Biden's Vogue cover exposes her craving for the spotlight -- and power

The New York Post editorial board on Monday made a connection between first lady Jill Biden's third Vogue cover in three years and her motivation for keeping her rapidly declining husband in the presidential race in 2024.

"Jill adores the spotlight," an op-ed points out, citing a glitzy Biden family photo shoot with Annie Lebovitz and the Vogue cover and gushing interview.

The first lady made it clear that she has long influenced and continues to influence her husband's decisions “in so many different areas," but this doesn't necessarily translate to voter support that helps the president.

After all, most people don't want a leader who is being influenced by his wife, who was never elected to any office, even if she is technically a "doctor" with her Ed.D degree.

Even Joe Biden's complete bombing of the first presidential debate didn't give Jill pause to think about advising her husband to pull out of the race.

He just had a bad night, she's trying to say. "We will continue to fight," she told Vogue.
