First lady Jill Biden will speak at a cancer survivorship event in a Democrat district of Florida on Monday.
The event will take place at Nova Southeastern University in Davie in Florida's 25th district, represented by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D).
The Florida congresswoman is a breast cancer survivor herself.
The summit's purpose is to address the gap in services after diagnosis and treatment and to work with treatment providers to provide services in the community. It will include panel discussions, brief presentations, a resource fair, and mobile vans available to provide services.
After her speech, Mrs. Biden will go with Wasserman Schultz to Brevard County to meet with military families.
It's a waste of time for the first lady to be in Florida as far as the presidential race in 2024 goes, but Democrats are still fighting for every House seat they can because the margin of majority is so tiny.
It's important to share the news to spread the truth. Most people won't.
