There have been a number of incidents during Joe Biden's presidency that led to him wandering around the stage after giving a speech, looking confused until the first lady or someone else helps him figure out where to go.
Saturday after both Jill and Joe Biden gave speeches at the Human Rights Campaign dinner in Washington, D.C., she came back onto the stage to escort her husband safely off it.
Both Bidens spoke about LGBTQ rights and accused MAGA Republicans of trying to take them away.
'Extreme MAGA Republicans in Congress are trying to undo virtually every bit of progress we’ve made,' Joe Biden said, echoing previous statements about his political opposition.
"We have to reject hate in every form," said the president. "Antisemitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia they're all connected. Hate toward one group left unanswered opens the door to more hate towards more groups more often."
Jill Biden's move escorting her husband off the stage comes after reports that staffers are terrified that Joe Biden will fall in public and add to the perception that he is too old to serve.
