Jill Biden corrected by children for refusing to say 'Christmas'
Jill Biden tried to get away with a fast one while speaking to a group of kids at the White House recently, but even the youngsters weren't about to let it slide.
At a White House toy drive event, Mrs. Biden refused to say "Christmas," instead opting for a generic "Happy Holidays" when greeting the children.
The kids were NOT about to let her get away with it.
"Hello! How are you? Hi! Happy Holidays," Biden began.
Almost immediately, multiple shouts of "Happy Christmas" came from the young audience.
"Happy Christmas, yes," the first lady then corrected.
People on social media were all over the situation immediately, with conservative voice Riley Gaines getting in on the action.
"Even kids get it," Gaines tweeted, followed by a laughing emoji.
"Jill Biden fact checked by toddler," another social media user tweeted.
Eventually, Mrs. Biden was able to get back on track and address the youngsters:
"There are so many people who care about you -- from your family and friends, to your teachers and classmates, to the President and me," Biden said. “And the best thing we can do with that love is to let it overflow -- to share it with others who might really need it."
