Jay-Z distancing from Diddy as both face rape allegations
Rapper Jay-Z is reportedly ready to throw longtime associate Sean "Diddy" Combs under the bus to save himself amid rape allegations that both men assaulted a 13-year-old after the MTV Music Awards in 2000.
Jay-Z vehemently denied the allegations after a civil suit was filed against both men last week.
"Jay-Z would absolutely throw Diddy under the bus if that is what it took to clear his name and walk away from this," an insider told the Daily Mail. "He has zero loyalty to Diddy."
The insider also said that accuser Jane Doe's attorney, Tony Buzbee, is blackmailing him with the lawsuit.
'The only thing that he cares about is him never stepping foot inside a jail cell and his family being safe. Jay-Z is extremely powerful and will deploy any tactic necessary," his lawyers said.
In a recent interview with the accuser on NBC and in her court filing, there were inconsistencies about some of the details she cites that Jay-Z claims discredit her story.
