JD Vance torches Kamala Harris during Michigan MAGA rally

 July 22, 2024

Now that former President Donald Trump has selected Sen. J.D. Vance as his 2024 running mate, the Ohio Republican has clearly been tasked with dismantling Vice President Kamala Harris.

According to Mediaite, at his first MAGA rally as Trump's running mate, Vance held nothing back as he attacked Harris on multiple issues and as a politician.

The MAGA rally with Vance's VP debut was held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and like any other MAGA rally, was packed with thousands of Trump supporters.

Vance's words for Harris were his counterattack to a previous accusation leveled against him by Harris that he has no "loyalty" to the United States.

The VP hopeful tore into Harris in his response, saying all she's done is "collect a check."

"The vice president, Kamala Harris, she doesn’t like me. Kamala Harris said something to the effect that I have no loyalty to this country. Well, I don’t know, Kamala. I did serve in the United States Marine Corps and build a business. What the hell have you done other than collect a check? What?," Vance said.

"What has she done other than collect the check from her political offices?" he asked.

He added, "And we have to. We have to give her credit, my friends. She did serve as voter. This is our during the biggest disaster open border that we’ve ever had in this country. Let’s get President Trump back there, close down that border and bring some common sense and security to this country."

The Trump-Vance campaign is now heavily directing fire at Harris, given that President Joe Biden has stepped out of the race, leaving Harris the informal presumptive nominee.

While Harris will not be the nominee until the Democratic convention's delegate process takes place, many believe that she could face other challengers.

In recent days, Sen. Joe Manchin (I-WV) announced that he could possibly challenge Harris. Other observers believe more candidates might consider jumping at the chance.

In late-breaking news, it was reported Monday that Harris received enough delegate support in a new poll that would crown her the nominee.

Only time will tell, but it's clear that Trump and Vance will relentlessly go after her until it's decided.
