Ivanka Trump will not serve in official White House role
It seems like Donald Trump's family has always been a huge part of his political career, so some people are finding it a little surprising that one member in particular has no plans to participate in the White House in any official capacity once his new term begins.
During Trump's first two runs for the White House, Ivanka Trump was by her father's side every step of the way.
Ivanka definitely didn't speak out against her dad this time around, but during the most recent election cycle it was his daughter-in-law Lara Trump who was the campaign's power player in the family.
That's apparently going to continue once Trump takes office.
At least as of now, Ivanka Trump doesn't appear to be taking any official role in her father's administration.
Republicans might like to see Ivanka involved again at some point in the future.
For now, though, it's Lara Trump who is bringing the girl power to the team.
Exactly. Lara Trump deserves every bit of praise for her relentless dedication and hard work. She’s proven herself to be a powerhouse, showing up day after day with integrity and focus, and proving the doubters wrong. Her commitment to the RNC and to building a stronger future… pic.twitter.com/2gPM17gTu1
