American airstrikes kill 7 in Syria: Reports

 November 14, 2023

Reuters has confirmed the news.

American airstrikes killed "up to" seven people in Syria over the weekend.

A military official, speaking to Reuters on the condition of anonymity, said, "U.S. believes its latest air strikes on Sunday against Iran-linked militia in Syria killed up to seven people."

The deaths would be the first caused by the American military since initiating retaliatory strikes in the last month against militia that the government blames for attacking troops at bases in both Iraq and Syria.

The previous strikes launched have landed on unoccupied storage facilities.

U.S. and coalition troops have been attacked no fewer than 55 times in Iraq and Syria since Oct. 17, causing injuries to 59 personnel.

The militant groups responsible for the attacks on American troops are apparently upset over U.S. Israel in its conflict with Hamas.

Israel would have our back, so we're going to have theirs.
