IRS Launches New Attack On Middle Class

 January 13, 2023

Rep. Michael Waltz, a Republican from Florida, recently confirmed what millions of Americans have been terrified about in regard to the IRS.

The IRS is coming after the middle class, not the tax cheats at the top of the pyramid. Waltz does not think that this is reasonable. The IRS making the transaction threshold for investigation only $600 hurts small businesses and lets the wealthy keep doing what they're doing.

"I don’t think many millionaires or billionaires are worried about six-hundred-dollar transactions," Waltz said, adding:

That’s going to go to mom-and-pop shops and you’re going to need a whole slew of IRS agents to follow up on it. And we’re going to defund them. That’s it. At the end of the day, let’s fund border agents, not IRS agents and that was our first bill coming out of the gate. And we’ve got more to follow on the border, fund babies that are born alive, on prosecutors and making them prosecute. I’m excited to get rolling and next comes accountability.

I hate to admit it, but the man is right. We need to do something about this, and it needs to happen soon. The elite policing the elite only ends with us paying the bills.
