India's Supreme Court Upholds Revocation Of Kashmir's Autonomy

 December 12, 2023

India’s Supreme Court just made a jaw-dropping decision.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move to revoke Kashmir’s limited autonomy has been upheld.

Modi took to X, the platform previously called Twitter, where he called the court’s decision “a beacon of hope, a promise of a brighter future and a testament to our collective resolve to build a stronger, more united India.”

Not everyone feels so positive about the decision, however.

Pakistani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jalil Abbas Jilani called the ruling “a travesty of justice.”

“India has no right to make unilateral decisions on the status of this disputed territory against the will of the Kashmiri people and Pakistan. Their ultimate goal is to convert the Kashmiris into a disempowered community in their own land,” Jilani said to reporters in Islamabad.

During world events like this, it is a good reminder of just how lucky we are to be living in the United States of America.

It is also a reminder of just how crucial it is to have a leader in the White House we can trust.

That man is NOT President Joe Biden.
