Seven children ages 12 to 17 were injured in an Indianapolis mall shooting Saturday night just after 11 p.m. when a large group of juveniles were congregating there.

Officers heard gunshots when they were patrolling the area near Circle Centre Mall and discovered the crowd of children and teens, discovering six with gunshot wounds.

The victims were taken to the hospital where their wounds were treated. A seventh victim arrived at the hospital later.

One of the victims was in critical condition initially, but was later upgraded to serious condition.

Police said four boys and three girls were injured. All of them are now in stable condition.

There is no known motive for the shooting and police did not have any suspects in custody.
