An illegal immigrant released into the U.S. by President Joe Biden's Department of Health and Human Services is now in jail without bail on charges he raped and killed an 11-year-old girl in Pasadena, Texas earlier this month.
Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez, 18, is accused of raping Maria Gonzalez, then strangling her and stuffing her body into a laundry basket that he hid under her bed.
Rodriguez was 17 when he crossed the border in January and was released to an adult sponsor in Shreveport, Louisiana after being turned over to HHS as an unaccompanied child (UAC).
Rodrigues claimed after his arrest that two black men held him at gunpoint and forced him to rape Gonzalez.
Just before her murder on August 12, Gonzalez texted her father that people were knocking on the door. When neighbors went to check on her, the apartment was empty.
With almost 300,000 UACs having been released into the U.S. by the Biden administration, it isn't surprising that at least a few of them would be criminals.
