Hunter Biden ordered to appear in Arkansas court in child support case

A circuit judge in Arkansas has ordered Hunter Biden to appear in person next week for a contempt hearing to determine whether he is withholding financial records in a child support case there.

The mother of his child, Lunden Roberts, has accused Biden of submitting inaccurate financial information in order to reduce his child support payments.

The judge appeared frustrated with delays in the case, and ordered both parties to be present at subsequent hearings.

“From now on … I want both of your clients at every hearing I conduct,” the judge told both Roberts and Biden attorneys, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. “I will no longer allow us to excuse clients … because it is interfering with the progress of litigation, which is taking way too long to get over simple points.”

Discovery in the case could facilitate knowledge about Biden's art sales and his stake in Chinese-owned BHR Partners, from which he claims to have divested, but no evidence backs up that claim.

An expert witness was also cleared to testify about the contents of Biden's abandoned laptop, which one of Biden's lawyers has admitted was his.
